Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, representing Anambra South and a prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has passed away.
According to SaharaReporters, Ubah died in a hotel in London, United Kingdom, where he had traveled two days prior.
His death was confirmed in a group chat of senators, who have started to pay their tributes.
Just days ago, Senator Ubah’s campaign council donated a total of ₦71 million to the APC in Anambra State, strengthening the party’s presence and influence in the region. This donation included ₦50 million from Senator Ubah himself, fulfilling his pledge to support the party and enhance its effectiveness in the state.
The Senate has yet to comment on the incident.
