I have been waiting for HOUSE OF GA'A and as it dropped and I got the notification, I dropped everything to watch this wholesomeness 😍

Una kuku know the much I love movies that are like folk tales done in ancient African settings showcasing our history, traditions, diety, powers and stories.
If it is done in our indigenous language.... I AM HOOKED ooo

This was done in Yoruba focusing in the old Oyo empire. It is how they drag us into their kingship and the power of the kingmakers headed by Bashorun. How power can intoxicate and been powerful literally make you feel immortal.

The cast is so rich that reading about it I was so intrigued...

Funke Akindele and Toyin Ibrahim in one movie is enough to make you want to watch. Even though their roles are supporting it was major for me.
Teddy A impressed me as this is his first movie I have watched. Then when I saw his wife Bambam as part of the cast I smiled too. Biggie kids are doing great things abeg.
I love how each one of the cast and crew brought out their A game.

Femi Branch is Bashorun GA'A the elephant and oh boy ..... he finished the role leaving nothing else to act. Acting to perfection.

Props was 10/10 for me ooo... if you no like bl00d this one go make you cringe oo. Na bl00dbath kinda but what do you expect from the powerful Oyo kingdom we read about. If dem go war bl00d must flow

It was 2hrs worth of my data. I loved every scene. Even the love scenes. A fearless almost inhuman man has a heart that only a woman can get to.

The ending was kinda a cliff hanger. I like the twist... maybe a part 2? It was not a complete wipe of the GA'A is it????

Anyway e don drop for Netflix! A good movie that you would love to binge on but keep it away from the kids. Afterall it is rated 18+
